Girl Guess What? stemmed from a vision and encounter our founder/CEO Marriam Chafera McMillian, had in 2004. She recently had a deeper spiritual awakening and she discovered she had a testimony, with the help of counsel from a pastor located in Michigan, a testimony she could share with others so that they could learn from her life experiences. She then discovered her purpose and Girl guess What? was created.
As years passed, layers of her testimony, experience, knowledge and wisdom would develop into a larger vision to create a public platform for the world. In 2014 GGW was launched with a beautiful celebration gala in Long Island, New York with a dinner and a host of powerful speakers. Marriam Chafera continued on to do empowerment events to give back and help women discover and reach their highest potential and skill set. Next Marriam Chafera opened a meeting place: a beauty bar boutique in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She created a space to share positive tools and for women to gather and share stories so they could gain from each others experiences, creating a virtual sisterhood.
After much development, here we are 2020 with the launch of GGW online, a network where women can connect, empower, share, discover, receive healing and support to fulfill their highest potential and purpose, while living their best life daily. I present you "Girl Guess What?" there is so much to come!
